Es un mensaje preciso, dirigido en particular a quienes, como Israel, Alemania y Estados Unidos, a pesar de la falta de pruebas cient\u00edficas precisas, han decidido proceder a la tercera dosis, mientras que en los pa\u00edses pobres se vacuna a cerca del 1% de la poblaci\u00f3n y las numerosas muertes de m\u00e9dicos y enfermeras hacen a\u00fan m\u00e1s fr\u00e1giles los ya precarios servicios nacionales de salud. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La administraci\u00f3n estadounidense ha rechazado oficialmente el llamamiento de la OMS y ha reservado 1.300 millones de dosis hasta 2023, lo que corresponde a unas 5 dosis por cada ciudadano estadounidense. Francia y Alemania tambi\u00e9n han rechazado el recurso de la OMS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Canad\u00e1 ha reservado 450 millones de dosis a pesar de tener menos de 40 millones de habitantes. Entre las dosis ya adquiridas y las que llegar\u00e1n, la Uni\u00f3n Europea dispondr\u00e1 de 3.000 millones de dosis en 2023, lo que equivale a unas 6,6 dosis por persona. Adem\u00e1s, los nuevos pedidos son a precios un 30% m\u00e1s altos y, por tanto, a\u00fan menos asequibles para los pa\u00edses pobres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seg\u00fan la Agencia de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo, si el porcentaje de personas vacunadas en los pa\u00edses del sur fuera similar al de los pa\u00edses occidentales, las econom\u00edas de estos pa\u00edses habr\u00edan ganado 38.000 millones de d\u00f3lares, y los pa\u00edses ricos se habr\u00edan beneficiado considerablemente. Adem\u00e1s, la falta de vacunas en el sur del mundo favorece el desarrollo y la propagaci\u00f3n de variantes virales m\u00e1s agresivas en todas partes.
