Arginando i blocchi della rete e dei social, grazie ad un ponte umano la redazione di Othernews \u00e8 riuscita a porre alcune domande ad  un professionista informatico iracheno che vive a Bagdad, sposato con due figli, e che ha chiesto di rimanere anonimo per paura di ritorsioni. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

ON<\/strong>: Contro cosa manifesta la gente nelle piazze? Contro la crisi economica e la corruzione delle \u00e9lite politiche al potere? Cosa ha di diverso questa ondata di proteste rispetto alle precedenti?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

R<\/strong>: Le persone manifestano contro la corruzione dei partiti al potere, l’ondata di manifestazioni non ha precedenti, centinaia di migliaia di persone stanno manifestando a Baghdad e in tutte le province del sud.<\/p>\n\n\n

ON<\/strong>: La vita politica irachena tende ad assestarsi spesso lungo cleavage etnici, religiosi e tribali. Saddam aveva favorito a suo tempo soprattutto trib\u00f9 sunnite, mentre il post-Saddam ha visto emergere e occupare importanti posizioni di potere la componente sciita del Paese: anche l’ex-primo ministro Mahdi \u00e8 del resto sciita. Oggi si pu\u00f2 dire che la protesta \u00e8 trasversale e che abbraccia tutta la popolazione a prescindere dal gruppo etnico, tribale e religioso, oppure interessa maggiormente qualcuno?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

R<\/strong>: La maggior parte dei manifestanti comprende trasversalmente tutti i gruppi etnici; di fatto i manifestanti chiedono una separazione tra religione e politica.<\/p>\n\n\n

ON<\/strong>: C’\u00e8 connessione tra l’opposizione parlamentare a Mahdi, in primis Muqtada Al-Sadr e Hadi Al-Hamiri che pi\u00f9 volte ne hanno richiesto le dimissioni e i manifestanti? Oppure i manifestanti si pongono indifferentemente in opposizione a tutta la classe politica?<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n

R<\/strong>: Muqtada Alsadr sta sfruttando l’ondata di proteste e cerca di controllare le manifestazioni, mentre in verit\u00e0 \u00e8 partner del governo corrotto. A Baghdad ci sono milioni di suoi seguaci, e i manifestanti a Baghdad non possono nominare il suo nome nelle loro proteste. Ma questo non \u00e8 il caso delle province del sud in cui i manifestanti hanno protestato contro tutti i partiti politici e bruciato le loro sedi. Dopo le dimissioni di Abdul Mahdi, i manifestanti chiedono di cambiare il sistema elettorale per consentire l\u2019accesso al parlamento ai candidati indipendenti.<\/p>\n\n\n

ON<\/strong>: I curdi hanno preso parte alle proteste o rimangono in disparte per conservare le prerogative federali loro garantite dalla Costituzione?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

R<\/strong>: I leader curdi e sunniti si oppongono al cambiamento dei sistemi elettorali che avrebbero dovuto votare luned\u00ec prossimo.<\/p>\n\n\n

ON<\/strong>: Nel corso delle manifestazioni \u00e8 stato assaltato il consolato iraniano a Karbala, citt\u00e0 sacra sciita, e dato alle fiamme quello di Najar e oltretutto \u00e8 stata assaltata la sede di una milizia sciita, con morti tra i manifestanti . Come si connettono queste proteste contro l’influenza iraniana con le proteste contro la corruzione?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n

R<\/strong>: I manifestanti si stanno rendendo conto che le milizie sostenute dal governo iraniano che proteggono i partiti islamici sono responsabili dell\u2019uccisione di tantissimi manifestanti, motivo per cui il loro consolato \u00e8 stato attaccato.<\/p>\n\n\n

ON<\/strong>: A cosa miravano Al-Sadr e Al-Hamiri, pur membri della coalizione di governo, chiedendo le dimissioni di Mahdi?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n
