Il disegno di legge, passato anche grazie ai voti di otto senatori Repubblicani, era gi\u00e0 stato approvato alla Camera dei Rappresentanti a gennaio, dopo&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilpost.it\/2020\/01\/05\/dentro-attacco-contro-qassem-suleimani\/\">l\u2019uccisione del generale iraniano Qassem Suleimani<\/a>.&nbsp;Ora dovr\u00e0 essere nuovamente approvato dalla Camera perch\u00e9 prima del voto in Senato sono state fatte alcune modifiche, ma ci si aspetta che il presidente Donald Trump blocchi la legge usando il veto presidenziale, come ha gi\u00e0 detto che far\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il Congresso ha la possibilit\u00e0 di superare un veto presidenziale con una nuova votazione alla Camera e una al Senato in cui ci siano almeno i due terzi dei voti a favore: per ottenerli al Senato, pi\u00f9 di dieci altri senatori Repubblicani dovrebbero sostenere il disegno di legge, e nemmeno alla Camera, a gennaio, si era raggiunta una maggioranza tanto grande.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Se venisse definitivamente approvato, il disegno di legge imporrebbe a Trump di chiedere il benestare del Congresso prima di intraprendere azioni militari contro l\u2019Iran e potrebbe farlo solo se il parlamento americano decidesse di dichiarare guerra o permettere l\u2019uso della forza militare per uno specifico obiettivo.
