L\u2019ultimo arrivo di migranti in Italia \u00e8 della notte scorsa: 73 persone, e tra loro 4 donne e due bambini, sbarcati a Porto Empedocle da due motovedette, una della Guardia di finanza l\u2019altra della Guardia costiera. Ieri pomeriggio erano giunti autonomamente con una barca fin davanti Lampedusa e le autorit\u00e0 italiane, piuttosto che farli sbarcare sull\u2019isola dove i nervi sono a fior di pelle, hanno preferito far effettuare il trasbordo sulle unit\u00e0 militari e portarli direttamente in Sicilia.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quasi nelle stesse ore, le forze armate di Malta portavano alla Valletta un altro gruppo di migranti, una settantina, dopo che Alarm Phone, la Ong che riceve e rilancia le chiamate di soccorso dei profughi, aveva riferito di una chiamata da quella imbarcazione nella quale si riferiva di una motovedetta maltese che si era avvicinata a loro per mettere fuori uso il motore della barca. Una seconda imbarcazione dalla quale Alarm Phone aveva ricevuto richiesta di soccorso, 85 persone, sempre ieri sarebbe stata riportata indietro da una motovedetta della Guardia costiera libica.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In mezzo a questi salvataggi, le quasi contemporanee decisioni di Italia, Malta e della stessa Libia di dichiarare i propri porti non sicuri per gli sbarchi dei migranti a causa dell\u2019emergenza sanitaria per il Coronavirus. Dopo il provvedimento interministeriale di Roma, emesso due giorni fa, ieri infatti lo stesso hanno fatto La Valletta e Tripoli.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il risultato immediato \u00e8 che su un pattugliatore militare libico fermo davanti alla capitale, dove nelle ultime ore si sono intensificati gli scontri della guerra civile, ci sono 280 persone recuperate in mare nelle ultime ore, compresi gli 85 di ieri, che non possono sbarcare. Lo ha denunciato l\u2019Oim, l\u2019Organizzazione per le migrazioni delle Nazioni Unite, che sulla banchina del porto di Tripoli attende di poter prestare assistenza.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un fatto \u00e8 certo. Come ha rilevato la stessa Oim, nella settimana di Pasqua sono ricominciate le partenze dalla Libia dove i migranti sono rinchiusi nelle terribili connection house sotto le bombe e, grazie al tempo migliore e al mare calmo, preferiscono affrontare la pericolosa traversata del Mediterraneo centrale piuttosto che restare in quel Paese, per loro molto pi\u00f9 pericoloso del virus che ha invaso l\u2019Europa.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019Oim stima che almeno 500 persone siano partite negli ultimi giorni. Tra loro ci sono anche le 150 attualmente a bordo della Alan Kurdi, la nave della Ong tedesca Sea-eye che da giorni chiede il \u00abPos\u00bb, il porto sicuro, a Roma e alla Valletta e che attualmente si trova ferma tra Linosa e Malta. Per l\u2019Italia, dovrebbe essere la Germania, Paese della nave e della Ong, a farsi carico del problema.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nei 500 contati dall\u2019Oim ci sono anche i 108 che, arrivati con pi\u00f9 sbarchi autonomi, sono adesso in quarantena nell\u2019hotspot di Lampedusa, mentre un\u2019altra cinquantina di migranti \u00e8 stata trasferita in Sicilia via nave due giorni fa. Una situazione, questa, che ha allarmato la popolazione di Lampedusa, finora immune al Covid-19, con la protesta di alcune decine di persone davanti al municipio di qualche giorno fa e la richiesta fatta ieri dal sindaco Tot\u00f2 Martello al Viminale di posizionare davanti all\u2019isola una nave che possa accogliere i migranti che arrivano autonomamente, evitando cos\u00ec che possano sbarcare.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Negli ultimi giorni altri gruppi di migranti, circa 250 persone, sono stati intercettati in mare dalla Guardia costiera spagnola che li ha sbarcati nei porti iberici.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>di FABIO ALBANESE &#8211; La Stampa Allarme Oim\u00a0(Organizzazione per le migrazioni delle Nazioni unite): garantire gli sbarchi durante pandemia CATANIA.
