Dati per ricostruire la fame nel 2020. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"453\" height=\"340\" src=\"http:\/\/www.other-news.info\/notizie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/fame_1.png\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"3635\" data-link=\"http:\/\/www.other-news.info\/notizie\/?attachment_id=3635#main\" class=\"wp-image-3635\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.other-news.info\/notizie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/fame_1.png 453w, https:\/\/www.other-news.info\/notizie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/fame_1-300x225.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 453px) 100vw, 453px\" \/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">121 sono i milioni in pi\u00f9 di persone, quest\u2019anno, che\npotrebbero soffrire la fame per un periodo prolungato, si tratta dell\u201982% in\npi\u00f9 rispetto all\u2019anno scorso. <em>\u201cEntro la fine dell&#8217;anno a causa della\npandemia oltre 270 milioni di persone, che gi\u00e0 lottano per sopravvivere a\nguerre, disuguaglianze, cambiamenti climatici&nbsp;potrebbero finire nella\nmorsa della fame cronica\u201d<\/em>, lo ha annunciato Francesco Petrelli, consulente\npolitico di Oxfam Italia, organizzazione che ha condotto un rapporto in materia\narrivando a denunciare \u201cil virus della fame\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A morire per fame, entro la fine del 2020, quasi 12 mila\npersone al giorno, secondo lo stesso rapporto. Stiamo parlando di fame\ninnescata dalla crisi economica e sociale proveniente, in misura maggiore, dall\u2019attuale\npandemia globale da Covid19. I posti di lavoro persi, aggiunge Petrelli, sono 305 milioni,\nelemento che scatener\u00e0 disuguaglianze economiche e sociali sempre pi\u00f9 rilevanti.\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I due paesi a soffrirne di pi\u00f9, ad oggi, sono Yemen e Siria.\nI due territori si trovano quindi non solo a combattere le rispettive guerre,\nma anche gli strascichi ed i grigiori delle calamit\u00e0 attuali. <\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nello Yemen, la chiusura dei confini ha limitato o proibito\ncompletamente l\u2019approvvigionamento, con un conseguente e naturale innalzamento dei\nprezzi alimentari; tutto ci\u00f2 in un paese che, tra l\u2019altro, importa il 90% delle\nsue scorte alimentari. Attualmente, 20 milioni di persone si trovano sull\u2019orlo\ndella carestia. <\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Siria invece si stima un incremento del 42%, rispetto al\n2019, delle persone a rischio fame. Solo un esempio: l\u2019olio, considerato un\nbene di lusso, ha raggiunto un prezzo tre volte superiore rispetto alla paga\ngiornaliera di un lavoratore stagionale. A tale sondaggio Save the Children\naggiunge le sue statistiche: il 65% dei bambini siriani non mangia una mela, un\u2019arancia\no una banana da almeno tre mesi. La situazione raggiunge livelli di criticit\u00e0\nelevati nel nord della Siria, dove un quarto dei bambini ha affermato di non\naver mangiato uno di questi frutti da almeno nove mesi. Il WFP (programma alimentare mondiale) contribuisce con i\nsuoi studi: in Siria una cesta di scorte alimentari destinata al consumo di una\nfamiglia ha il costo costa oggi 23 volte il prezzo medio antecedente alla crisi\nsiriana ed oltre il doppio del valore massimo registrato nel 2016. <\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ora, il mondo non sta attraversando una carestia globale,\nanzi, produciamo pi\u00f9 cibo di quanto ce serve. Il naturale e successivo pensiero\nsarebbe che nessuno, sulla faccia di questo globo, dovrebbe soffrire la mancanza\ndi cibo. Eppure abbiamo creato disequilibri, regole sociali ed economiche, un\nmercato globale non equo n\u00e9 degno della nostra intelligenza.
