OtherNews Founder and President Roberto Savio – the compass of OtherNews – is a journalist, communication expert, political commentator, activist for social and climate justice and advocate of global governance. In 1964, he founded Inter Press Service (IPS), of which he was Director-General for many years.
In 2008, he founded OtherNews, embarking on a new mission to safeguard democracy in danger in these difficult and contradictory times.
